Her Vigil
It has become apparent through the annuls of time that Women intuitively watch over everyone. And, because of their natures, they bring the light with them into every room, every venue, every life.
I painted “Her Vigil” to honor the great women I have known and who have made a difference in my life with their examples, their guidance and their ‘light’. What the woman in the painting is looking at with such an expression of love is undefined for a reason. That is left to the discretion of the viewer to fill in and thus to personalize. …….knowing that there is a woman of significance in their own lives who watches over them.
